ITAD Projects

Our projects are geared towards bridging the digital divide, reducing HIV infection through education, developing human resource and infrastructure through the sharing and recycling of Technology (Technical-Know-How and Equipment). Our press release article # 1 explains the digital divide problem analysis in Liberia, while article # 2 explains the background and analysis of Children Associated with Fighting Forces in Liberia . Some of ITAD major projects for Liberia are listed below:

  1. The set up of a Computer Laboratory-electronic Library, which will contain donated new/refurbish computers, printers, scanners, electronic books, an information database server and internet resources for the use of thousands of underprivileged university and grade school students.
  2. Launch a Free Computer Fundamental Training program for all university and grade school students in Liberia. So that they will be equipped to use the computer laboratory and electronic library facilities properly. An AIDS and HIV awareness will be integrated into this Free Computer Fundamental Training program, as a way of reducing the rate of HIV infection through education.
  3. Scholarship solicitation for university and grade school students in developing countries.
  4. Donation plus Maintenance of computers, accessories and general communication equipment we receive, to institutions in need of these things, but can not afford the cost.
  5. Research and Publication (conduct or commission research, compile, distribute or otherwise make accessible information on various topics and publish the results of such research for development.)
  6. Center for Counselling and Skill Training-The major activities at this facility include: Counseling services, Computer literacy, Adult literacy, Soap making, and Tie-dye.
